Chairwoman 2023-2025
Irene is the Director of the Executive MBA in Shipping and Logistics (The Blue MBA) at Copenhagen Business School (CBS), Europe’s leading institution of its kind. From the beginning, she has been responsible for the design, development and co-ordination of The Blue MBA. On behalf of CBS, she has a fundamental role in building global relationships and networks within the maritime industry. She also promotes research identifying challenges and future issues for the maritime industry as a whole.
She is a member of many international boards and committees. Based on her extensive international network and experience, she has been entrusted with major roles in varied maritime-related activities, speaks at leading maritime events and holds leading board positions. At a recent survey she achieved No. 1 place for the top 100 women in the shipping industry for two consecutive years: 2020 and 2021.

Monika is an inspiring professional with a profound background in procurement and supply chain management, accumulated through years of experience in international shipping companies.
Now serving as Fleet Management Team Lead in a leading European ferry company, she leads transformative initiatives to enhance technological focus on vessels, ensuring alignment with strategic fleet priorities and driving innovative projects for improved compliance, efficiency, and sustainability.
With a firm belief in empowering women in the industry and a keen interest in networking, Monika actively promotes diversity and fosters meaningful connections to create a thriving and inclusive maritime community.
BOARD MEMBER 2024-2026
Amanda currently holds the role of Global Head of Order Management Solutions (OMS) at DHL Global Forwarding based in Copenhagen. Amanda has 25+ years’ experience in the maritime, logistics, transportation and supply chain management related fields in leadership positions in American, Asia and Europe having held key roles in Maersk, Expeditors and others in addition to DHL. Amanda’s current role in OMS helps customers to balance the need for offshore production with the need for agility in managing orders and optimizing freight movement around the world.
Born in the U.S., Amanda has a BA in Business Administration from the University of Tennessee and an MBA in International Business Systems from Loyola Marymount University. Amanda served previously as a Board Member and Chairwoman of the American Chamber of Commerce, Vietnam during the periods of 2016-2020.
Secretary 2023-2025
Mette joined Bureau Veritas (BV), Marine & Offshore, Denmark in 2008 as Contract & Administration Manager. Mette leads in various aspects of daily operations, including contract management of classification and statutory services, ISM & ISPS audits and MLC inspections. In her role, she is responsible for the monthly financial reporting for BV Nordic countries, developing the budget under various categories in addition to her supporting role to top management.
Prior to her role in Bureau Veritas, Mette worked at the Royal Danish Embassy in Washington DC, US and at the Royal Danish Embassy in Hanoi, Vietnam. Mette holds a master’s degree in political science from the University of Copenhagen. Additionally, Mette has an executive MBA in Shipping and Logistics from Copenhagen Business School (CBS).

Katrine is a bright minded professional of market research, analysis and strategy development. She brings to the table several years of experience working at Dorian LPG in LPG market research and VLGC shipping market forecasting, propane and butane supply and demand algorithms as well as Steam Crackers and PDH plants production margins benchmarking to the commercial pricing strategy of LPG in US Gulf, Far and South East Asia.
An aspiring younger mind who has graduated from the International Shipping and Trade bachelor program at CBS in 2023. She strives for a creation and maintenance of all support systems necessary to attract and promote female professionals within maritime industry whether at the beginning or further in their careers. Katrine actively promotes inclusivity, equality and networking within the community.

Jayme is a seasoned leader with start-ups supporting strategy planning and execution in areas of technology, international supply chains, and healthcare. Jayme holds many years’ experience in the global maritime and supply chain management areas working with carriers and shippers in the Americas and Europe. As a leader with start-ups, Jayme has been instrumental in supporting strategy planning and execution in diverse fields, including technology, international supply chains, and healthcare.
Drawing on extensive industry knowledge and a track record of success, Jayme brings innovative solutions and a results-driven approach to drive growth and create value for organizations. With a wealth of experience in global maritime and supply chain management, Jayme has collaborated with carriers and shippers across the Americas and Europe, driving operational excellence and optimizing logistics processes.

Jennie brings over 20 years of experience in the maritime industry to her role as Head of HSSEQ at Maersk Supply Service. Her career has spanned various facets of the industry, including serving as a dual officer on tanker vessels, working as a ship surveyor with the Danish Maritime Authority, and being part of Maersk Supply Service for the past seven years in various positions.
In her leadership role, Jennie oversees Health, Safety, Security, Environment, and Quality (HSSEQ) for Maersk Supply Service’s corporate structure and provides support to all regions globally. This encompasses managing all company certifications, including Document of Compliance (DOC) under five flags, as well as ISO 9001 (Quality Management), ISO 14001 (Environmental Management), and ISO 45001 (Occupational Health and Safety Management).
Jennie is a dedicated manager with a strong passion for leadership development. She actively strives to empower and develop her team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement within the HSSEQ department and the company. She holds HD1 and is graduating HD2 in International Business from CBS this summer.
ALTERNATE BOARD MEMBER 2024-2025
Ana is an alternate board member who brings over 20 years of experience in the shipping and logistics industry to M-NOW. Over her career, she has achieved a deep understanding of corporate finance, project/change management, and process excellence. She is currently engaged in A.P. Møller-Maersk as a Director in Group Finance, in charge of the transformation of Global Productivity.
Ana holds a degree in International Trade from Monterrey’s Tech and several specializations in business partnering and strategy (IMD, University of Miami, CBS, and Yale). She has lived in Mexico, the USA, Germany, and Denmark. She is passionate about innovation, coaching, and the advancement of minorities in the workplace.
